The Accident At The Margaret Pit

Messrs Patterson and Wilson, accompanied byMr. J. Terrell and an overman, yesterday, carefully inspected the New Maudlin Seam, at the earnest request of the men. The mine was found to be in every way satisfactory, with the exception of the debris that had been left by the water. The whole of the men have resumed work, except in the Hutton Seam, which is flooded out.Mr. Lishman has promised that as soon as the way is cleared work will be commenced in one or two places, which places shall be bored in advance.
