History:
(Fantastic Four I#171/Fantastic Four I#172 (fb)) - Jerry and his partner were two of three police officers to report on the scene when a strange craft crashed in the Central Park Zoo. When Gorr the Golden Gorilla leaped from the craft and landed right in front of Jerry, the other officers warned Jerry to look out. Shocked when Gorr began growing in size, Jerry yelled to the officers, who told him to get back. Feeling as if handguns would have no effect on Gorr, Jerry ran off, exclaiming that they needed to get help to contain Gorr within the Central Park Zoo. He then got into his police car and sped away with the other officers as the Human Torch engaged the giant gorilla.
(Fantastic Four I#172) - Hours later, having returned to the Central Park Zoo with reinforcements, Jerry and his partner witnessed the Fantastic Four's Fantasticar fly overhead. When his partner asked if that was indeed the Fantasticar, Jerry remarked that he was wondering when one of the heroic supergroups would show up and admitted he wished it were the Avengers, as he was very attracted to their recent recruit, the bald Moondragon. When the Fantasticar landed, however, Jerry was surprised to see Gorr the Golden Gorilla again. Gorr swatted Jerry and his partner aside with ease and as he got back to his feet, Jerry commented that he had a feeling they had been through something like that before just hours earlier. His partner then suggested Jerry look into the sky as the actual Fantastic Four arrived on the scene.
