The son of Graham Molloy debuted for Norwood in <1990> and was was drafted alongside fellow Norwood players Martin Pike and Damon Munt, at the end of <1992>. He debuted as a late replacement for the injured Pike in Round 10, 1993 but didn't play another game until <1994>.
Molloy was used sparingly in his four seasons with the Demons and returned to Norwood after his AFL career ended, where he played again from <1997> to <1999>. He appeared in a total of 80 games for the Redlegs and played in their <1997> premiership.
