Recruited midway through <1986> from side Geelong West, Sizer debuted in the last round of 1986 and played well on David Rhys-Jones.
He remained on the senior list in <1987> but failed to play a senior match and was cleared to Richmond in late June. He didn't make it out of their side. In <1988> he worked as a caddy at Augusta National Golf Club in America, reportedly caddying for Jack Nicklaus.
