Lyra Block-1 [Echostar]
Lyra is a S-band IoT (Internet-of-Things) constellation by EchoStar Global LLC, an Australian subsidiary of EchoStar.
EchoStar Globals planned non-geostationary orbit satellite Lyra system will provide global S-Band connectivity for Internet of Things (IoT) and other data communications, pursuant to Australias International Telecommunication Union (ITU) filings for the SIRION-1 network. The Lyra system will serve both commercial IoT services and will function as a platform for ongoing development of the S-Band portfolio. Lyra Block One covers the launch of four spacecraft.
The four satellites will be launched using SpaceX Falcon-9 Rideshare and will deploy the Lyra spacecraft at a drop-off orbit from where they will perform a series of maneuvers to reach their operational orbit. When the mission is complete, the spacecraft will expend remaining fuel in a deorbit maneuver
