Lady Evelyn Pierrepont was baptised on 19 September 1691 at St. Anne's, Soho, London, EnglandG.2 She was the daughter of Evelyn Pierrepont, 1st Duke of Kingston-upon-Hull and Lady Mary Feilding.1 She married John Leveson-Gower, 1st Earl Gower, son of John Leveson-Gower, 1st Baron Gower of Stittenham and Lady Catherine Manners, on 13 March 1711/12.3 She died on 26 June 1727 at age 35.3
After her marriage, Lady Evelyn Pierrepont was styled as Baroness Gower of Stittenham on 13 March 1711/12. From 13 March 1711/12, her married name became Leveson-Gower.

Sir Gervase Ralph Edmund Blois, 10th Bt.1

Sir Gervase Ralph Edmund Blois, 10th Bt. was born on 6 June 1901.2 He was the son of Sir Ralph Barrrett MacNaghten Blois, 9th Bt. and Winifred Grace Kennard.2 He married, firstly, Audrey Winifred Johnson, daughter of Colonel Harry Johnson, on 20 September 1938.2 He and Audrey Winifred Johnson were divorced in 1948.2 He married, secondly, Margaret Lucia White, daughter of Major Hon. Charles James White and Evelyn Bulkeley-Johnson, on 24 April 1948.1 He died on 22 May 1968 at age 66.2
He was educated at Wellington College, Berkshire, EnglandG.2 He was educated at Royal Military College, Sandhurst, Berkshire, EnglandG.2 He was Aide-de-Camp to the Governor of bengal between 1925 and 1928.2 He gained the rank of Captain in 1939 in the Scots Guards.2 He fought in the Second World War.2 He was awarded the Military Cross (M.C.) in 1944.2 He was awarded the Chevalier, Ordre national de la Légion d'honneur.2 He was awarded the Croix de Guerre.2 He succeeded as the 10th Baronet Blois, of Grundisburgh and Cockfield Hall, co. Suffolk [E., 1686] on 18 March 1950.2

Brig.-Gen. Hon. Robert White was born on 26 October 1861.1 He was the son of Luke White, 2nd Baron Annaly of Annaly and Rathcline and Emily Stuart.1 He died on 19 November 1936 at age 75, unmarried.1
He fought in the Nile Expedition between 1884 and 1885, where he won a medal with clasp, and bronze star.1 He gained the rank of Major in the Reserve of Officers, Royal Welsh Fusiliers.1 He gained the rank of brevet Lieutenant-Colonel in the Reserve of Officers, Royal Welsh Fusiliers.1 He fought in the Boer War in 1896.1 He fought in the Boer War in 1900, where he won a medal with five clasps.1 He gained the rank of Lieutenant-Colonel in the 10th (Service) Battalion, Royal Fusiliers.1 In 1914 he raised and commanded the 10th Battalion, Royal Fusiliers.1 He fought in the First World War, where he was mentioned in despatches six times, and wounded twice.1 He gained the rank of Brigadier-General in the 184th Infantry Brigade, British Expeditionary Force.1 He was appointed Companion, Order of St. Michael and St. George (C.M.G.) in 1916.1 He gained the rank of honorary Brigadier-General in 1918.1 He was awarded the Distinguished Service Order (D.S.O.) in 1918.1 He was appointed Companion, Order of the Bath (C.B.) in 1919.1

John Sutherland, 8th Earl of Sutherland was the son of John Sutherland, 7th Earl of Sutherland and Margaret Baillie.1 He married, secondly, Margaret Calder, daughter of William Calder of Calder.1 He married Catherine (?)1 He married, firstly, Finvola Macdonald, daughter of Celestine Macdonald of Lochalsh and Finvola Maclean, in 1467.1 He died circa 1508.1
He succeeded as the 8th Earl of Sutherland [S., 1235] on 22 February 1455/56, after his father resigned his earldom in his son's favour.1 In 1494 he was found incapable of managing his own affiars.1
