Olivia Mary Beatrice Stanley was born on 1 January 1908.1 She was the daughter of Lt.-Col. Hon. Frederick William Stanley and Lady Alexandra Louise Elizabeth Acheson.1 She married, firstly, John Galloway Rankin, son of Edwyn Christopher Rankin and Helena Mabel Galloway, on 8 April 1937.1 She married, secondly, Brigadier Archer Francis Lawrence Clive, son of Lt.-Gen. Sir George Sidney Clive and Madeline Buxton, on 3 October 1950.1 She died on 9 July 1985 at age 77.2
From 8 April 1937, her married name became Rankin. From 3 October 1950, her married name became Clive.
