Victoria May Chichester was born in 1887 at Instow, Devon, England.2 She was the daughter of Rear-Admiral Sir Edward Chichester, 9th Bt. and Catharina Emma Whyte.1,3 She married Gilbert Alan Hamilton Wills, 1st Baron Dulverton, son of Sir Frederick Wills, 1st Bt. and Annie Hamilton, on 2 December 1914 at Tendring, Essex, England.1,2 She died on 5 April 1968 at Westminster, London, England.1,2
From 2 December 1914, her married name became Wills.1 She was appointed Officer, Order of the British Empire (O.B.E.) in 1951.3

Rear-Admiral Sir Edward Chichester, 9th Bt. was born on 20 November 1849.3 He was the son of Sir Arthur Chichester, 8th Bt. and Mary Nicholetts.3 He was baptised on 24 January 1850 at Sherwell, Devon, EnglandG.4 He married Catharina Emma Whyte, daughter of Commander Robert Charles Whyte, on 12 October 1880.3 He died on 17 September 1906 at age 56 at Gibraltar.3
He was appointed Companion, Order of the Bath (C.B.)3 He fought in the First Boer War in 1881.3 He fought in the Egyptian Campaign in 1882.3 He gained the rank of Captain in the Royal Navy.4 He fought in the Egyptian Campaign between 1884 and 1885.3 He succeeded as the 9th Baronet Chichester, of Raleigh, co. Devon [E., 1641] on 13 July 1898.3 He was appointed Companion, Order of St. Michael and St. George (C.M.G.) in 1899.4 He was Aide-de-Camp to HM Queen Victoria and HM Edward VII between 1899 and 1902.3 He fought in the Boer War between 1900 and 1901.3 He was Admiral Superintendant of the Naval Establishment between 1904 and 1906 at GibraltarG.3
