George Lennox Barrow1

George Lennox Barrow was born on 27 January 1921 at Ardee, County Louth, Ireland.2,3 He was the son of Major Ronald Edmund Barrow and Cecilia Frances Woolsey-Butler.1,2 He married, firstly, Margaret Douglas Stevenson, daughter of Major Robert Stevenson, on 17 March 1948.2 He married, secondly, Viola Barkly Mary Molteno, daughter of Vice-Adm. Vincent Barkly Molteno, on 14 September 1954.2 He and Margaret Douglas Stevenson were divorced in 1953.2 He died on 1 January 1989 at age 67 at Dublin Road, Sutton, County Dublin, Ireland.3

Alexander Elphinstone of Glack was born on 3 April 1801.1 He was the son of John Elphinstone of Glack and Maria Prudence Robertson.2 He married, firstly, Charlotte Hunter, daughter of William Hunter and Charlotte Robertson, on 28 June 1831.1 He married, secondly, Margaret Rachel Roberts on 19 August 1868.3,4 He died on 28 November 1888 at age 87.1
He was in the Bombay Civil Service.3 He succeeded as the 8th Baronet Elphinstone, of Logie Elphinstone, co. Aberdeen and Nova Scotia [N.S., 1701] on 16 April 1835, de jure.3 He held the office of Member of the Council of Bombay.3
