Sir William Curtis, 3rd Bt.1

M, #307705, b. 26 August 1804, d. 7 November 1870

Sir William Curtis, 3rd Bt. was born on 26 August 1804.1 He was the son of Sir William Curtis, 2nd Bt. and Mary Anne Lear.2 He was baptised on 4 March 1805 at Southgate, London, England.3 He married Georgina Maria Stratton, daughter of John Stratton and Frances Maria Jodrell, on 18 May 1831 at St. George Hanover Square, London, England.1,3 He died on 7 November 1870 at age 66.1
He succeeded as the 3rd Baronet Curtis, of Cullands Grove, Middlesex [U.K., 1802] on 16 March 1847.1

Elizabeth Caroline Tyrwhitt-Drake was born on 26 February 1845 at Kings Hill, Hertfordshire, England.1,2 She was the daughter of Thomas Tyrwhitt-Drake and Elizabeth Julia Stratton.1 She was baptised on 30 April 1845 at Great Berkhampstead, Hertfordshire, England.2 She married William Frederick Hicks-Beach, son of Sir Michael Hicks-Beach, 8th Bt. and Harriett Vittoria Stratton, on 5 July 1865.1 She died on 22 January 1901 at age 55 at Cheltenham, Gloucestershire, England.1
From 5 July 1865, her married name became Hicks-Beach.1

William Chester Master.1 She married, firstly, William Edmund Curtis, son of Sir William Curtis, 3rd Bt. and Georgina Maria Stratton, on 10 February 1859.1 She married, secondly, George Berney Charleton, son of Reverend John Kynaston Charleton, on 25 June 1868.1 She died on 4 September 1928.2
From 10 February 1859, her married name became Curtis. From 25 June 1868, her married name became Charleton.1
