Elizabeth Eve Edgedale was born on 28 August 1926.1 She was the daughter of Samuel Richard Edgedale and Elaine Blanche Gibbs.1 She married Anthony Philip Harbord-Hamond, 11th Baron Suffield, son of Admiral Richard Morden Harbord, 10th Baron Suffield and Nina Annette Mary Crawford Hutchison, on 16 January 1952.1 She died on 7 February 1995 at age 68.1
Elizabeth Eve Edgedale usually went by her middle name of Eve.2 After her marriage, Elizabeth Eve Edgedale was styled as Baroness Suffield on 16 January 1952. From 16 January 1952, her married name became Harbord-Hamond.

Anthony Philip Harbord-Hamond, 11th Baron Suffield was born on 19 June 1922.2 He was the son of Admiral Richard Morden Harbord, 10th Baron Suffield and Nina Annette Mary Crawford Hutchison.3 He married Elizabeth Eve Edgedale, daughter of Samuel Richard Edgedale and Elaine Blanche Gibbs, on 16 January 1952.4 He died on 8 December 2011 at age 89.5
He was educated at Eton College, Windsor, Berkshire, England.2 He fought in the Second World War between 1942 and 1945, in North Africa and Italy.2 He fought in the Malayan Emergency between 1948 and 1950.2 He was awarded the Military Cross (M.C.) in 1950.2 He was awarded the Officer, Order of Orange-Nassau in 1950 with swords.2 He succeeded as the 11th Baron Suffield, of Suffield, co. Norfolk [G.B., 1786] on 2 February 1951.3 He succeeded as the 12th Baronet Harbord [G.B., 1746] on 2 February 1951.3 He retired from the military in 1961, with the rank of Major, late of the Coldstream Guards.2 He was admitted to Gentlemen-at-Arms in 1973.2 He lived in 2003 at Gardeners Cottage, Gunton Park, Hanworth, Norfolk, England.2

Admiral Richard Morden Harbord, 10th Baron Suffield

Admiral Richard Morden Harbord, 10th Baron Suffield was born on 24 August 1865.1 He was the son of Rev. Hon. John Harbord and Caroline Penelope Hamond.2 He married Nina Annette Mary Crawford Hutchison, daughter of John William Hutchison, on 11 September 1913.1 He died on 2 February 1951 at age 85.1
He was given the name of Richard Morden Harbord at birth.2 He fought in the Egyptian Campaign in 1882.1 He fought in the First World War between 1914 and 1917.1 On 6 November 1917 his name was legally changed to Richard Morden Harbord-Hamond by Royal Licence.1 He held the office of Deputy Lieutenant (D.L.) of Norfolk.1 He succeeded as the 10th Baron Suffield, of Suffield, co. Norfolk [G.B., 1786] on 23 May 1946.2 He succeeded as the 11th Baronet Harbord [G.B., 1746] on 23 May 1946.2

Nina Annette Mary Crawford Hutchison

Nina Annette Mary Crawford Hutchison was the daughter of John William Hutchison. She married Admiral Richard Morden Harbord, 10th Baron Suffield, son of Rev. Hon. John Harbord and Caroline Penelope Hamond, on 11 September 1913.1 She died on 8 November 1955.1
Her married name became Harbord. After her marriage, Nina Annette Mary Crawford Hutchison was styled as Baroness Suffield on 23 May 1946.
