Hilda Brunner1

Hilda Brunner was born on 22 January 1874.1 She was the daughter of Rt. Hon. Sir John Tomlinson Brunner, 1st Bt. and Salome Davies.1 She married, firstly, Charles Harold Broadbent on 28 April 1897.1 She married, secondly, Arthur Henry Dillon, 18th Viscount Dillon of Costello-Gallin, son of Hon. Conrad Adderly Dillon and Ellen Lousia Dashwood, on 5 January 1907.1 She died on 23 May 1966 at age 92.1
From 28 April 1897, her married name became Broadbent. From 5 January 1907, her married name became Dillon. After her marriage, Hilda Brunner was styled as Viscountess Dillon of Costello-Gallin on 18 December 1932.

Rt. Hon. Sir John Tomlinson Brunner, 1st Bt. was born on 8 February 1842.1 He was the son of Reverend John Brunner and Margaret Catherine Curphey. He married, firstly, Salome Davies, daughter of James Davies, on 14 June 1864.1 He married, secondly, Jane Wyman, daughter of William Sanderson Wyman, on 29 July 1875.1 He died on 1 July 1919 at age 77.1
He was founder of Brunner Mond & Company, alkali manufacturers.1 He lived at Winnington Old Hall, Cheshire, EnglandG.1 He held the office of Deputy Lieutenant (D.L.) of Lancashire.1 He lived at Druids Cross, Lancashire, EnglandG.1 He held the office of Member of Parliament (M.P.) (Liberal) for Northwich between 1885 and 1886.1 He held the office of Member of Parliament (M.P.) Brigadier Eric FitzGerald Dillon, 19th Viscount Dillon of Costello-Gallin was born on 4 April 1881.1 He was the son of Hon. Conrad Adderly Dillon and Ellen Lousia Dashwood.1 He married Nora Juanita Muriel Beckett, daughter of Brig.-Gen. Charles Edward Beckett and Louisa Augusta Michel, on 4 June 1907.1 He died on 6 April 1946 at age 65.1
He was educated at Rugby School, Rugby, Warwickshire, EnglandG.1 He fought in the Boer War between 1900 and 1901.1 He fought in the First World War, where he was mentioned in despatches seven times.1 He was awarded the Distinguished Service Order (D.S.O.) in 1915.1 He was awarded the Croix de Guerre avec palmes.1 He was awarded the Croix de Guerre Belgian.1 He was awarded the Officier, Ordre national de la Légion d'honneur.1 He was awarded the Officer, Order of Leopold of Belgium.1 He gained the rank of Brigadier in the Royal Munster Fusiliers.1 He was appointed Companion, Order of St. Michael and St. George (C.M.G.) in 1919.1 He was admitted to Gentleman-at-Arms.1 He succeeded as the 19th Viscount Dillon of Costello-Gallin, co. Nora Juanita Muriel Beckett1

Nora Juanita Muriel Beckett was the daughter of Brig.-Gen. Charles Edward Beckett and Louisa Augusta Michel.1 She married Brigadier Eric FitzGerald Dillon, 19th Viscount Dillon of Costello-Gallin, son of Hon. Conrad Adderly Dillon and Ellen Lousia Dashwood, on 4 June 1907.1 She died on 9 September 1962.1
Her married name became Dillon. After her marriage, Nora Juanita Muriel Beckett was styled as Viscountess Dillon of Costello-Gallin on 25 May 1934.
