He was educated at Winchester College, Winchester, Hampshire, EnglandG.1 He was educated at New College, Oxford University, Oxford, Oxfordshire, EnglandG.1 He fought in the First World War, in the Indian Army.1 He gained the rank of Captain in the R of 0, Indian Army.1 He was in the Indian Civil Service, Foreign and Political Department, North-West Frontier, Persia and Afghanistan.1 He was a Director of Tea Companies.1 He gained the rank of Squadron Leader in the Royal Air Force.1 He fought in the Second World War.1 He lived in 1976 at 9 Burton Court, Franklin's Row, Chelsea, London, EnglandG.1
