Alfred Edward Reeve
M, #467298, b. 4 February 1854, d. 10 February 1947
Alfred Edward Reeve was born on 4 February 1854 at Leighton Buzzard, Bedfordshire, England.1 He was the son of Charles Reeve and Frances Mary Deverell. He was baptised on 3 March 1854 at All Saints Church, Leighton Buzzard, Bedfordshire, England.1 He married Ellen Hills, daughter of Henry Hills and Ellen Morgan, on 17 December 1884 at Emu Bay, Tasmania, Australia.1 He married Esther Chapple, daughter of John Chapple and Mary Ann Hursey, on 23 February 1917 at Wynyard, Tasmania, Australia.1 He died on 10 February 1947 at age 93 at Devonport, Tasmania, Australia.1 He was buried on 12 February 1947 at Flowerdale, Tasmania, Australia.1
Alfred Edward Reeve started at Sibford Friends School, Sibford Ferris, Banbury, Oxfordshire from September 1853. His role number being 431. Birthdate conflicts with this???. The Headmaster of the day was Richard Routh, who remained in office from 1842-1880. It seems as though Charles parents were Quakers but Frances wasn’t. It was Sibford’s custom at that time to take in children of parents who had been disowned by the Society of Friends for marrying outside,
