DEATH.
REEVE. On May 6, at the residence of his father, Samuel, eldest son of Alfred Edward Reeve, of Boat Harbor; aged 23 years.
FUNERAL NOTICE.
The funeral of the late Samuel Joseph Reeve will leave the resi- dence of his father, Boat Harbor TO-DAY (Monday), at 3.30 p.m., for the Flowerdale Cemetery. Friends please accept this intvitation. W. A. PORTER, Undertaker.

The funeral took place yesterday of Samuel, eldest son of Mr. Alfred E. Reeve, of Boat Harbor. The place of interment was the Flowerdale cemetery, and there was a representa- tive attendance at the funeral. The young man, who was only 23 years of age, became ill with pneumonia last week, and within four days was dead. Sincere sympathy is felt for the rela- tives.1 Reference: PI & REG GEN.1

WEDDING BELLS.
THORP REEVE. On Wednesday evening a very pretty wedding was celebrated at the Gospel Hall at Boat Harbor, the contracting parties being Frances Mary, second daughter of Mr. A. E. Reeve, 'Gershom Flowerdale, and Alfred Douglas third son of Mr. George Thorp 'Spring Farm,' South road, near Stanley- The church was crowded. The Rev. Livingstone, of Stanley, officiated The bride entered the church on the arm of her father, while the congregation were singing the hymn, 'Lord Jesus who dids't once appear.'' During the service a short prayer was offered for those just entering in the bonds of holy matrimony, followed bv a shorty address, based on the highest ideal of the Christian faith— holy wedlock. The bride looked very pretty in a handsome muslin de soir dress with cream insertion trimmings. She wore the usual wreath of orange blossoms and a long embroidered cream veil, and carried a pretty bouquet, with cream streamers. Miss Nellie Thorp was bridesmaid and Miss Dosie Reeve maid of honor, and they were both daintily dressed and carried pretty bouquets. Mr. Paul Reeve assisted the bridegroom as best man and was supported by Mr. Lewis Thorp aa groomsman. The bride's present to the bridegroom was a hand some silver shaving outfit, and his to the bride a prettily-engraved solid silver hand mirror.
Alter the ceremony the relations and friends journeyed to the residence of tho bride's father, where a splendid supper was partaken of. Shortly after wards the happy couple left for Burnie en route to Launceston, where their honeymoon will be spent. Their future home will be at Forest. A beautiful lot of presents were given being both useful and ornamental and were greatly appreciated by the recipients.1 Her married name became Thorp.1
