Diana Isabel Sturt.1 He married, firstly, Sonya Salzman, daughter of Ivan Salzman, on 21 February 1940.3 He and Sonya Salzman were divorced in 1961.3 He married, secondly, Doreen Margaret Billington, daughter of Roland Billington, on 17 March 1961.3 He died in 1981.
He was educated at Oundle School, Oundle, Northamptonshire, EnglandG.1 He gained the rank of Lieutenant in the South Lancashire Regiment.1

Margaret Elphinstone, daughter of Sidney Herbert Elphinstone, 16th Lord Elphinstone and Lady Mary Frances Bowes-Lyon, on 31 July 1950.2 He died in November 1981 at age 62 at The Garden House, Windsor Great Park, Windsor, Berkshire, EnglandG.2 He died on 30 October 1981 at age 62.1
