Henry Edward John Stanley, 3rd Baron Stanley of Alderley was born on 11 July 1827.1 He was the son of Edward John Stanley, 2nd Baron Stanley of Alderley and Hon. Henrietta Maria Dillon-Lee.1,2 He married Fabia Roman, daughter of Santiago Federico San Roman, on 6 November 1869 at St. George Hanover Square Registry Office, London, England, in a bigamous marriage.1 He married Fabia Roman, daughter of Santiago Federico San Roman, in 1862 in a Islamic ceremony but bigamous marriage.1 He married Fabia Roman, daughter of Santiago Federico San Roman, on 15 May 1874 at Roman Catholic Church of St. Alban, Macclesfield, Cheshire, England, in a still bigamous marriage.1 He died on 10 December 1903 at age 76, unmarried.
He was educated at Eton College, Windsor, Berkshire, England.1 He was educated at Trinity College, Cambridge University, Cambridge, Cambridgeshire, England.1 He was with the Foreign Office between 1847 and 1858.1 He was Attaché to Constantinople in 1851.1 He was Secretary of Legation, Athens between 1854 and 1859.1 He was Special Mission to Danubian Provinces between 1856 and 1858.1 He succeeded as the 2nd Baron Eddisbury of Winnington, co. Chester [U.K., 1848] on 16 June 1869.1 He succeeded as the 9th Baronet Stanley, of Alderley [E., 1660] on 16 June 1869.1 He succeeded as the 3rd Baron Stanley of Alderley, co. Chester [U.K., 1839] on 16 June 1869.1 He went through forms of marriage with one Fabia Roman, aka Serafina Fernandez y Funez, who died as Lady Stanley of Alderley 15 May, 1905; it was later discovered that she was married to another.

Susan Mary Elizabeth Stewart-Mackenzie was the daughter of Keith William Stewart-Mackenzie and Hannah Charlotte Hope-Vere.1 She married, firstly, Colonel Hon. John Constantine Stanley, son of Edward John Stanley, 2nd Baron Stanley of Alderley and Hon. Henrietta Maria Dillon-Lee, on 15 August 1871.1 She married, secondly, Francis Henry Jeune, 1st and last Baron St. Helier, son of Rt. Rev. Francis Jeune and Margaret Dyne Symons, on 17 August 1881.1 She died on 25 January 1931.1
From 15 August 1871, her married name became Stanley. From 17 August 1881, her married name became Jeune. After her marriage, Susan Mary Elizabeth Stewart-Mackenzie was styled as Baroness St. Helier on 23 February 1905. She was appointed Commander, Order of the British Empire (C.B.E.) in 1920.1 She was appointed Dame Commander, Order of the British Empire (D.B.E.) in 1925.1

Francis Henry Jeune, 1st and last Baron St. Helier was born on 17 March 1843.1 He was the son of Rt. Rev. Francis Jeune and Margaret Dyne Symons.1 He married Susan Mary Elizabeth Stewart-Mackenzie, daughter of Keith William Stewart-Mackenzie and Hannah Charlotte Hope-Vere, on 17 August 1881.1 He died on 9 April 1905 at age 62, without surviving issue.1

Francis Alan Stewart-Mackenzie of Seaforth was born on 27 February 1910.1 He was the son of William St. John Freemantle Brodrick, 1st Earl of Midleton and Madeline Cecilia Carlyle Stanley.1,2 He married Margaret Laetitia Lyell, daughter of Major Hon. Charles Henry Lyell and Rosalind Margaret Watney, on 23 January 1937.2 He died on 11 September 1943 at age 33 at ItalyG, killed in action.1,3
He was given the name of Francis Alan Brodrick at birth.1 He graduated from New College, Oxford University, Oxford, Oxfordshire, England, in 1932 with a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.)1 In 1935 his name was legally changed to Francis Alan Stewart-Mackenzie of Seaforth.1 He fought in the Second World War.1 He gained the rank of Major in the Surrey and Sussex Yeomanry.2

Margaret Laetitia Lyell was born on 22 April 1912.1 She was the daughter of Major Hon. Charles Henry Lyell and Rosalind Margaret Watney.2 She married, firstly, Major Hon. Francis Alan Stewart-Mackenzie of Seaforth, son of William St. John Freemantle Brodrick, 1st Earl of Midleton and Madeline Cecilia Carlyle Stanley, on 23 January 1937.1 She married, secondly, Charles Henry Pearson Gifford, son of Thomas Johnstone Carlyle Gifford, on 6 June 1944.1 She died in November 1995 at age 83.1
Margaret Laetitia Lyell also went by the nick-name of Letty.1 She graduated from London University, London, England, with a Bachelor of Science (B.Sc.) Econ.1 From 23 January 1937, her married name became Stewart-Mackenzie. Major Hon. Charles Henry Lyell was born on 18 May 1875.1 He was the son of Leonard Lyell, 1st Baron Lyell and Mary Stirling.2 He married Rosalind Margaret Watney, daughter of Vernon James Watney and Lady Gwendolen Margaret Wallop, on 18 May 1911.1 He died on 18 October 1918 at age 43.1
He held the office of Member of Parliament (M.P.) (Libera;) for East Dorset between 1904 and 1910.1 He held the office of Member of Parliament (M.P.) for South Edinburgh between 1910 and 1917.1 He held the office of Justice of the Peace (J.P.) for Forfarshire.1 He gained the rank of Major in the Fife Royal Garrison Artillery.1 He was Assistant Military Attache to Washington in 1918.1
