Moubray St. Andrew Thornton St. John, 19th Baron Saint John of Bletso was born on 5 November 1877.1 He was the son of Beauchamp Moubray St. John, 17th Baron Saint John of Bletso and Helen Charlotte Thornton.2 He married, firstly, Evelyn Geraldine Russell, daughter of Captain Andrew Hamilton Russell, on 4 October 1905.1 He married, secondly, Elizabeth May Griffith, daughter of Lloyd Walter Griffith, on 26 September 1923.1 He died on 28 October 1934 at age 56.1
He fought in the Boer War between 1899 and 1902.1 He gained the rank of Captain in the King's Own Sscottish Borderers.1 He held the office of Justice of the Peace (J.P.) for Bedfordshire.1 He succeeded as the 19th Baron Saint John of Bletso, co. Bedford [E., 1559] on 17 October 1920.1 He succeeded as the 16th Baronet St. John, of Woodford, Northamptonshire [E., 1660] on 17 October 1920.1 He held the office of Deputy Lieutenant (D.L.) of Bedfordshire.1 He was Member of the Ecclesiastical Committee, Houses of Parliament between 1925 and 1931.1
