Notes:
Commodore Vice Admiral L. E. Crabbe was in Samuel Bakke,
The A 1 form gives the Vice Commodore vessel as Pandorian, while the Commodore's notes say that Commodore Forsyth was in Skiensfjord.
Rear Commodore was in Tucurinca.
Note that some of the ships in this convoy are also mentioned in ON 127 - they could not have completed a voyage to the U.S. in both. (Perhaps they were only bound for Iceland when in ON 125?)
Ensis returned to Liverpool on orders of C.-in-C. W.A. on completion of smoke trial at 00:30 Aug. 30 in 55 42N 09 05W.
Tucurinca and Mount Kyllene parted company for Halifax under escort in 43 18N 60 35W at 23:30 Sept. 9.
Rio Novo had a man overboard at 19:00 on Sept. 11. He was picked up but subsequently died.
Daily positions of convoy at 08:00 BST are available on request via the contact address provided at the bottom of this page. Or, go to this page on Mike Holdoway's website (external link) - I sent him the coordinates, and he made a chart of the voyage (click on "Charted convoy routes").
