Description
In FOTW, in general, ISO 3166 codes are used to file pages and images. Below is a list of ISO 3166-1 codes for countries present in FotW, linked to their flag pages, as well as a few legacy codes. Further information on the ISO 3166 lists can be foundat the ISO website.
The motiviation for including codes in this list is to make this list the inverse of the Geographic Index by Country. Their presence does not imply anything about the diplomatic status of the entities concerned.
