Bisingen Coat of Arms

The shield is divided per pale. The dexter side displays a golden (= yellow) mitre in a red field. The sinister side displays a red demi-cogwheel couped per pale in a golden (= yellow) field.
Meaning:
The mitre is taken from the arms of the Lords of Bisingen, local rulers in the 13th and 14th century. The demi-cogwheel is symbolizing the settlement of industries since the 19th century.

The banner was approved on 30 June 1982 by the county administration, published in GABl 560/1983. The coat of arms was approved on 14 September 1953 by the provisional government.
