Dotternhausen Coat of Arms

Shield Azure, a stag forcene Or.
Meaning:
According to a seal of Wernher of Dotternhausen from 1325 the Lords of Dotternhausen had a stag forcene in their arms. The municipality adopted these arms. The tinctures were chosen arbitrarily.
