Shield Azure, in base two barrulets wavy Argent, over all a stork statant proper.
Meaning:
The barrulets wavy are symbolising the name giving rivers Elbe and Havel. Storks are very typical for the marshes between the two rivers.

Klietz Coat of Arms
Shield Or a stag salient Gules, issuant from base a triplemount Vert.
Meaning:
Klietz had a municipal seal already in 1781, displaying a stag salient. The county provided a seal displaying two halberds in saltire, which was rejected by the municipality in 1946. The village mayor stressed that there had been 14 municipalities of the (former) Jerichow II County displayed a stag in their arms due to the statistics of 1908. A school banner inaugurated in 1957 displayed a stag salient over a heather landscape. The arms were redesigned in 1991 by J�rg Mantzsch, displaying the stag dur to the tradition in local seals and paintings.

Shield Or; issuant from base a castle Gules masoned Sable, consisting of an embattled wall, two towers with cone roofs and a connecting hip roof between the towers; beneath the roof a saint statant in armour Azure, sword Argent hilted Gules, in his left hand a shield parted per fess of Gules and Argent, in his right hand a blue lance with a labarum (white with throughout red cross).
Meaning:
The shield displays the arms of the Archbishopric of Magdeburg. The saint is St. Maurice, a co-patron saint of the archbishopric.

Shield parted per pale, at dexter Argent a demi-eagle Gules, armed and cloverstemmed Or and couped per pale, at sinister Azure, three gulls Argent volant in pale.
Meaning:
Blue and white had been the traditional municipal colours. The red eagle is a differentiation of the arms of Brandenburg. The gulls are representing a local lake and the Havel River.

Shield Azure, a trefoil Or, cornered by three oak leaves Argent
Meaning:
Schönhausen was founded at the beginning of the 13th century by the Bishopric of Havelberg. It became a possession of the Electors of Brandenburg after the Protestant Reformation and of the Bismarck kin in 1562. The arms are the full family arms of the kin, the oak leaves can also be found in the municipal arms of Aum�hle (see our page: de.html) and Reinbek.

Shield parted per bend wavy, above left Or a cat couchant Sable, beneath right Azure a fish urinant Or, two quadruplets of 6-point stars in counterchanged colours ordered 2:2 with the star beneath right in the partition Azure, the others in the partition Or.
Meaning:
The cat is taken from the arms of the former Wust municipality, the fish from the arms of the former Fischbeck municipality. The eight stars are representing the eight settlement cores of the municipality.

Shield Or, a chevron enhanced Gules, charged with five 6-point stars Or, in base a cat statant Sable.
Meaning:
The chevron is symbolising the common roof of the five settlement cores, symbolised by the five stars. The cat had been the charge of an inofficial coat of arms for ages, alluding to the Kattewinkel (= cat angle) landscape and to the local Katte kin.

The fish is a canting element. The barrulet wavy is representing Elbe River, the mount the Elbe dykes.
