Introduction
In the province of Alicante, there are several municipalities that have the Aragonese colours (yellow flag with four red stripes) with the municipal CoA in the center. The municipality of La Vila Joiosa (Spanish: Villajoyosa, 20,45 km� and 32.534 hab., 2008) is located in the comarca of Marina Alta.

Description
"Bandera tradicional, sin que se conozca fecha de adopción, en oro, cuatro palos de gules con el escudo municipal al centro."
"Traditional flag, date of adoption unknown; or, four bars gules with municipal shield in center."
