Introduction

Red Dawn was a movie. They showed one fictional flag. Most of the flags flown were Soviet, and only one American was flown at the end.

In the movie, they show a fictional flag like the Soviet Army flag. It has two stars, one inside another. The outside star is blue, the inside star is green.

This flag was first introduced in a parade in the main town in Red Dawn. It was the flag of the occupied zone, which was controled by the Soviet and Cuban armies. This flag was fixed on a staff, shown at a parade, and given to citizens with the Cuban and Soviet flags. This is the only time this flag was shown.
Zachary Harden, 5 February 2001

The occupied zone flag is fictional as its star is coloured. This real Soviet army flag, which was nonetheless unofficial and was used mostly not in the cloth but in flag depictions, had a golden star.
