Variant flag from Ar Banniel
In a 1996 issue of the Breton journal "Ar Banniel" is a paper entitled "Gwenn ha Du" (Black and White) by W. Smith. The paper is intended to destroy a legend claiming that the Breton flag is the only black and white flag in the world. It includes a plain black flag attributed to "Atcheh" (Aceh):
