Krommenië [former municipality]

Krommenie is part of the agglomeration of Zaanstad in Noordholland, a few km north of Amsterdam. Some time ago there was a feast for 750 years of Crommenia - site: <http://www.krommenie750.nl/> with a nice flag.

Krommenie Coat of Arms

Arms granted 26 Jun 1816. It was derived from the former "banne" (domain) of Westsanen en Crommenie, which received its arms from Jan van Beaumont (brother of Count Willem III of Holland) in the first part of the 14th century.
