Piła county Flag

New Piła county flag is a rectangular cloth a ratio 5 : 8, consisting of two vertical strips of unequal width. In the red hoist are the figures of the CoA, a eagle and a gold wreath of nine oak leaves. The fly is divided into nine equal width horizontal stripes alternating red and yellow.

New Piła County CoA was adopted by the County Council on February 27, 2014. Piła County CoA presents in the red shield a silver eagle (in form a Greater Poland eagle) with a golden beak and below a gold wreath of nine oak leaves.The authors of CoA are Jerzy Bąk and Aleksander Bąk. Erwin Günther pointed in his book [GUE09] to a mistake. I forgot the bottom white stripe. Really, the flag is divided horizontally white-green-white-red-white
(2:3:1:1:1).
