Mural crown Argent with three visible towers (village rank) and white scroll with inscription in black capitals "FERREIRÓ".
Meaning:
The bellows are tools of a smith (Port.: ferreiro)

The arms are Or a mound Vert issuant from base, in chief a rounded cross patty Gules (so-called Portuguese Templar cross) between two corn cobs Or leaved Vert. Mural crown Argent with three visible towers (village rank) and white scroll reading in black upper case letters "OUTEIRO MAIOR".
Meaning:
The arms are canting, as "outeiro maior" means "larger hill".

Coat of Arms

Shield Azure, two wheels Argent in fess, having eight spokes each, in chief a 5-point star Or, in base a triplet of wheat ears Or tied Argent. Mural crown Argent with three visible towers (village rank) and white scroll with inscription in black capitals "PARADA - VILA DO CONDE".
Meaning:
The star is representing Our Lady of Fátima, which is honoured by the local people, each year a pilgrimage for her takes place in the commune. The wheels are somehow canting. The commune's name means stage or stopover and is reminding on the fact that here had been a stopping point of the coach line between Vila do Conde and Vila Nova de Famalicão. The wheat ears are representing agriculture as an important business line.
