Pite� (or Pite in the local dialect) is a municipality in northern Sweden, in the county of Norrbotten. The municipality covers an area of 3085.9 km². Of the total population of 40363, 20161 are male, and 20202 are female. The population density of the community is 13 inhabitants per km².
