The Last Gate stood below the Golden Gate, and was the final entrance to Turgon's Hidden City. After the narrow escape of the Gondolindrim from the Nirnaeth Arnoediad, this immensely strong gate was made from steel and built across the inner end of the Orfalch Echor. See also...
