Description:
A radiation accident occurred at a nuclear reactor site, variously reported as involving manipulation of fuel rods or involving radiochemical plant operations. Resultant radiation exposure caused 1 fatality and 3 injuries, all with acute radiation sickness.
**Consequences:**1 fatality, 3 injuries.
