Although mostly known for her singles, Bebe is also a songwriter and record producer. Bebe has written songs recorded by Eminem, Nick Jonas, Selena Gomez andIggy Azalea. Bebe's growth in music began in childhood with learning the trumpet, guitar, and piano, joining the choir and appearing in plays. Bebe won a teen songwriting contest which led to enrolling in songwriting classes in New York City. Bebe worked with Pete Wentz of Fall Out Boy as a lead vocalist for his side project band 'Black Cards.' Bebe left the group in 2012. Bebe signed with Warner Bros. Records.
