Sia is best described as an eclectic singer and songwriter who became an unlikely pop star worldwide in her late 30s with her singing range, songwriting skills, and artistic performances and videos. Sia appeared to have music and the arts all around her when growing up. Her parents were a musician and art lecturer and her uncle is Colin Hay of Men At Work. Sia also was a background performer for Jamiroquai and contributed vocals to Zero 7 on three of their LPs. After success came internationally with the single "Chandelier," Sia began performing the song with her face hidden in an effort to have the focus be on the music and to maintain some privacy and "...control over my image." Sia has also been very vocal about her battle with addictions to painkillers and alcohol in her past, and suffering from depression. December 23: Sia released her debut LP_OnlySee_.
