The outstanding Romanian player, who obtained 134 international caps with his National Team, has entered the symbolic but exclusive circle of players with a Century of Caps.
He holds the Romanian caps record since June 8, 2005 (when he equalled the total of Gheorghe Hagi; according to the traditional count of Romanian caps, this happened on August 17, 2005).
