"Annetta North isn't a very big town. Although the population is 467 (as of 2000), most of the 3 1/3 square miles of land within the town limits are residential and farmland.

If you drive through our town, you'll probably miss it unless you're looking at a map. Our only town limit sign is on narrow Dixon Road, not on the main highway that goes through town (FM 5).

As you drive south on FM 5 from Willow Park, you'll know you're in Annetta North when you see Quail Ridge road to the left. As you go through town, you'll see the South Fork of the Trinity. A little farther, and you'll come to the railroad tracks.

There you will see the little Baptist church building. And that's about it. If you go any farther south, you'll be in Annetta.

Annetta North was incorporated as a town on August 11th, 1979, at the same time as Annetta and Annetta South. Phyllis Studer was elected as the first mayor, and there have been three different mayors since then.

There is no town hall; the Annetta North town council meets in the Annetta Methodist Church building, just south in Annetta."
