History on a Pinhead
Although the �town� still appears on some maps, very little history is available. The post office, which closed in 1907 managed to appear on the map made that year.
The only population figure available was from the 2000 census which reported 15 residents.
Photographer's Note:
Stewart is located in Rusk County on FM-782N at the junction of CR2127, 8-miles west of Tatum, 12-miles northeast of Henderson, 12-miles south of Longview, 14-miles southeast of Kilgore.
