Subject: Chaparral (roadrunner)

Last April, while in the area of Falcon Dam, we came upon this Chaparral. These 4 shots show the usual way you see the bird along a road and also the best close-up photo I have ever made of one.. Although this one was near Roma, Starr County Texas, this bird is seen running around a large area of our state. -
