Decker, Texas and Rogers Cemetery, Travis County. (original) (raw)

History in a Pecan Shell
There was a regional school here dating back to the early 1880s. A Methodist Church was established between then and the turn of the (20th) century.
Proximity to larger places limited Decker's growth as a town but it did maintain its own cemetery. The school merged with those in Manor in 1943 - making one of the earliest consolidations.
