Louis de Bourbon, Dauphin de France was born on 1 November 1661 at Fontainebleau, Île-de-France, FranceG.4 He was the son of Louis XIV, Roi de France and Maria Teresa von Habsburg, Infanta de España.4 He married, firstly, Maria-Anna Prinzessin von Bayern, daughter of Ferdinand Maria Kurfürst von Bayern and Adelaide Enrichetta di Savoia, Principessa di Savoia, on 7 March 1680 at Châlons-du-Marne, FranceG.1 He married, secondly, Marie Émilie de Joly, daughter of Guillaume Claude de Joly, Baron de Choin and Anne Clémence Bonne de Grolée de Mépieu, between 1691 and 1695 at Marly, FranceG, in a secret marriage.1 He married Maria-Anna Prinzessin von Bayern, daughter of Ferdinand Maria Kurfürst von Bayern and Adelaide Enrichetta di Savoia, Principessa di Savoia, on 28 January 1680 at Munich, Bavaria, GermanyG, in a proxy marriage.1 He died on 14 April 1711 at age 49 at Château de Meudon, FranceG.4
Louis de Bourbon, Dauphin de France also went by the nick-name of 'le Grand Dauphin'.1 He gained the title of Dauphin de France.1 In November 1700 he renounced his rights to the Spanish throne, in favour of his son, Philippe.1

Felipe V de Borbón, Rey de España was born on 19 December 1683 at Versailles Palace, Versailles, Île-de-France, FranceG. He was the son of Louis de Bourbon, Dauphin de France and Maria-Anna Prinzessin von Bayern.1 He married, firstly, Maria Luisa Gabriela di Savoia, daughter of Vittorio Amedeo II di Savoia, Re di Sicilia e Sardegna and Anne Marie d'Orléans, on 3 November 1701. He married, secondly, Isabella Elizabeth Farnese, daughter of Odoardo II Farnese, Duca di Parma and Dorothea Sophie Pfalzgräfin von Neuburg, on 24 December 1714. He died on 9 July 1746 at age 62 at Madrid, SpainG.
He gained the title of Duc d'Anjou. He succeeded as the Rey Felipe V de España in 1700. He succeeded as the Rey Felipe V de España in 1724.4 He abdicated as King of Spain in 1724.

He gained the title of Duc de Bourgogne on 6 August 1682.1 Louis de Bourbon, Duc de Bourgogne also went by the nick-name of 'Le Petit Dauphin'.4 He gained the title of Dauphin de France on 14 April 1711.1

He succeeded as the Kurfürst von Bayern in 1679.1
