Carlos de Borbón, Duque de Madrid was born in 1848. He was the son of Juan de Borbón, Comte de Montizon and Maria Beatrix Erzherzogin von Österreich-Este.2 He married, firstly, Marguerite di Borbone, Principessa di Parma, daughter of Carlo III di Borbone, Duca di Parma and Louise Marie Thérèse de Bourbon, on 4 February 1867. He married, secondly, Marie-Bertha Franziska Felicia Johanne de Rohan, daughter of Prince Arthur Carl Benjamin Victor Ludwig de Rohan and Gabriele Gräfin von Waldstein, in 1894 at Prague, Czech RepublicG.2 He died in 1909 at Varese, ItalyG. He was buried at Trieste, ItalyG.
He was a member of the House of Bourbon. He gained the title of Duque de Madrid.1
