Captain George Wareing Drewery Ormerod1

Captain George Wareing Drewery Ormerod was born on 12 October 1910 at Bolton, Lancashire, England.2,3 He was the son of Lt.-Col. George Milner Ormerod and Mildred Grace Ottley.2 He married Madeleine Gabrielle de Pury, daughter of Herman Edward de Pury and Margaret Gwyn Jeffreys, in 1941 at Wantage, Berkshire, England.1,4 He died on 11 July 1944 at age 33, killed in action.1,2
He lived at Tyldesley, Lancashire, EnglandG.1 He gained the rank of Captain in the 67th Medium Regiment, Royal Artillery.2 He fought in the Second World War.2

Lt.-Gen. Sir Robert Walpole was born on 1 December 1808.2 He was the son of Thomas Walpole and Lady Margaret Perceval.1 He married Gertrude Ford, daughter of General William H. Ford, on 29 January 1846.1 He died on 12 July 1876 at age 67.2
He gained the rank of Colonel in the 65th Regiment.2 He gained the rank of Lieutenant-General in the Indian Army.1 He was appointed Knight Commander, Order of the Bath (K.C.B.)2
