John Frere1

Jane Frere was born on 16 March 1773.3 She was the daughter of John Frere and Jane Hookham.4,5 She married Admiral Sir John Orde, 1st Bt., son of John Orde and Anne Marr, on 3 December 1793 at St. Marylebone Church, Marylebone Road, Marylebone, London, EnglandG.1,5 She died on 16 September 1829 at age 56.1 Her will was proven (by probate) in February 1830.5
From 3 December 1793, her married name became Orde.

Sir John William Powlett Campbell-Orde, 3rd Bt. was born on 23 February 1827 at Geneva, SwitzerlandG.2,3 He was the son of Sir John Powlett Orde, 2nd Bt. and Eliza Woollery Campbell.2 He married, firstly, Alice Louisa Monck, daughter of Charles Atticus Monck and Laura Ridley, on 17 July 1862 at St. Michael's Church, Chester Square, London, EnglandG.2,3 He married, secondly, Louisa Charlotte Temple Frere, daughter of Robert Temple Frere and Theresa Arabella Fanny Dowell, on 20 December 1884.2 He died on 12 October 1897 at age 70 at Lochmaddy, ScotlandG.3
He was given the name of John William Powlett Orde at birth.2 He was educated at Eton College, Windsor, Berkshire, EnglandG.3 He gained the rank of Captain in the 42nd Highlanders.2 He succeeded as the 3rd Baronet Orde, of Morpeth, co. Northumberland [G.B., 1790] on 11 December 1878.1 On 16 January 1880 his name was legally changed to John William Powlett Campbell-Orde by Royal Licence.2

Jane Ellen Orde was the daughter of Sir John Powlett Orde, 2nd Bt. and Eliza Woollery Campbell.2 She married Reverend Frederick Paget Wilkinson on 8 December 1857.1 She died on 1 March 1893, leaving issue.1
From 8 December 1857, her married name became Wilkinson.1

From 14 June 1832, her married name became Orde.1
