Lt.-Col. Gerald Ponsonby Sneyd Hunt married Helen Penuel Dunbar, daughter of Lt.-Col. Arbuthnott Pery Byng Sutherland Dunbar and Catharina Hester Orred, on 6 September 1911.1 He died on 23 March 1918, killed in action.1

Edward Dunbar-Dunbar was born on 23 August 1818.1 He was the son of Sir Archibald Dunbar of Northfield, 6th Bt. and Helen Cumming-Gordon.2 He married Phoebe Dunbar, daughter of Duncan Dunbar and Phoebe Bailey, on 17 October 1848 at St. John's Chapel, Forres, Morayshire, ScotlandG.1,3 He died on 10 January 1898 at age 79.1
He was given the name of Edward Dunbar at birth.1 He gained the rank of Captain in the 21st/22nd Regiments.1 On 24 November 1848 his name was legally changed to Edward Dunbar-Dunbar by Royal Licence.1 He wrote the book Social life in former days, chiefly in the province of Moray, published 1865.3 He held the office of Justice of the Peace (J.P.) for Elgin.1 He held the office of Deputy Lieutenant (D.L.) of Elgin.1 He lived at Glen of Rothes, Elgin, Morayshire, ScotlandG.1 He lived at Sea Park, Forres, Morayshire, ScotlandG.1
