Lt.-Col. John McNeile1

Lt.-Col. John McNeile married Oonagh Edwina Conolly, daughter of Lt.-Col. John Augustus Conolly, V.C. and Ida Charlotte Burnaby, on 22 January 1891.2 He died on 12 July 1915 at Dardenelles, TurkeyG, killed in action.1
He gained the rank of Lieutenant-Colonel in the 4th Battalion, King's Own Sscottish Borderers.1 He gained the rank of Major in the Coldstream Guards.2 He fought in the First World War.1

Rt. Hon. Henry Bruen1

Rt. Hon. Henry Bruen was born on 16 June 1828.2 He was the son of Colonel Henry Bruen and Anne Wandesforde Kavanagh.2 He married Mary Margaret Conolly, daughter of Colonel Edward Michael Conolly and Catherine Jane Ponsonby-Barker, on 6 June 1854.3 He died on 8 March 1912 at age 83.2
He held the office of High Sheriff of County Carlow in 1853.4 He held the office of Member of Parliament (M.P.) for County Carlow between 1857 and 1880.3 He held the office of Deputy Lieutenant (D.L.) of County Carlow.4 He was appointed Privy Counsellor (P.C.)
