Sir Richard FitzGerald Glyn, 4th/8th Bt. was born on 13 May 1875.1 He was the son of Sir Richard George Glyn, 3rd Bt. and Frances Geraldine Fitzgerald.2 He married Edith Hilda Hamilton-Gordon, daughter of Douglas George Hamilton-Gordon and Edith Anne Bullock, on 12 December 1906.3 He died on 23 March 1960 at age 84.3
He fought in the Boer War between 1899 and 1902.1 He fought in the First World War, where he was mentioned in despatches and was wounded twice.1 He was awarded the Distinguished Service Order (D.S.O.) in 1916.1 He was awarded the Chevalier, Ordre national de la Légion d'honneur in 1918.1 He succeeded as the 4th Baronet Glyn, of Gaunts, Dorset [G.B., 1800] on 9 August 1918.1 He held the office of High Sheriff of Dorset in 1927.1 He succeeded as the 8th Baronet Glyn, of Ewell, Surrey [G.B., 1759] on 4 January 1942.3 He held the office of Justice of the Peace (J.P.) for Dorset.3 He held the office of Deputy Lieutenant (D.L.) of Dorset.3

Andrew David Gordon was born on 6 March 1950.1 He is the son of David George Ian Alexander Gordon, 4th Marquess of Aberdeen and Temair and Beatrice Mary June Boissier.1 He married Lucy Mary Frances Milligan, daughter of Canon W. J. Milligan, in 1982.1
He was adopted by Beatrice Mary June Boissier and David George Ian Alexander Gordon, 4th Marquess of Aberdeen and Temair. He was educated at Harrow School, Harrow, London, EnglandG.1 He graduated from London School of Economics, London, EnglandG, in 1973 with a Bachelor of Science (B.Sc.)1 He lived in 1999 at Laverockbrae, Old Meldrum, Aberdeenshire, ScotlandG.1 On 30 April 2004 his name was legally changed to Hon. Andrew David Gordon after a Royal Warrant was issued giving courtesy titles to adopted children.2
