Sir Alfred Lassam Goodson, 1st Bt. was born on 17 May 1867.1 He was the son of Alfred Goodson.1 He married Mary Ethel Baker, daughter of Richard Baker, on 9 September 1892.1 He died on 29 November 1940 at age 73.1
He held the office of Member of the Cheshire County Council between 1904 and 1907.1 He held the office of High Sheriff of Devon in 1920.1 He was created 1st Baronet Goodson, of Waddeton Court, co. Devon [U.K.] on 18 January 1922.1 He held the office of Justice of the Peace (J.P.) for Devon.1 He held the office of Justice of the Peace (J.P.) for Cheshire.1

Sir Alfred Lassam Goodson, 2nd Bt. was born on 26 August 1893.1 He was the son of Sir Alfred Lassam Goodson, 1st Bt. and Mary Ethel Baker.2 He married, firstly, Joan Leyland, daughter of Christopher John Leyland, on 7 October 1920.1 He married, secondly, Enid Clayton Swan, daughter of Colonel Robert Clayton Swan, on 24 June 1941.1 He died on 17 February 1986 at age 92, without issue.1,3
He was educated at Radley College, Abingdon, Oxfordshire, EnglandG.1 He fought in the First World War, where he was mentioned in despatches.1 He gained the rank of Captain in 1924 in the City of London Yeomanry.1 He succeeded as the 2nd Baronet Goodson, of Waddeton Court, co. Devon [U.K., 1922] on 29 November 1940.1 He lived at Waddeton Court, Devon, EnglandG.1
