Lt.-Col. Graham Sydney Leventhorpe was the son of John Bonfoy Leventhorpe. He married Dorothy Leyland, daughter of Christopher John Leyland and Helen Dora Cayley, on 5 October 1920.1 He died on 15 December 1963.1
He was awarded the Distinguished Service Order (D.S.O.)1 He gained the rank of Lieutenant-Colonel in the Royal Artillery.1

Dorothy Leyland1

Dorothy Leyland was the daughter of Christopher John Leyland and Helen Dora Cayley.1,2 She married, firstly, Lt. Hon. Geoffrey Lambton, son of Frederick William Lambton, 4th Earl of Durham and Beatrix Bulteel, on 6 June 1914.1 She married, secondly, Lt.-Col. Graham Sydney Leventhorpe, son of John Bonfoy Leventhorpe, on 5 October 1920.1 She died on 12 February 1965.1
From 6 June 1914, her married name became Lambton. From 5 October 1920, her married name became Leventhorpe.

Geoffrey Lambton was born on 13 September 1887.1 He was the son of Frederick William Lambton, 4th Earl of Durham and Beatrix Bulteel.1 He married Dorothy Leyland, daughter of Christopher John Leyland and Helen Dora Cayley, on 6 June 1914.1 He died on 1 September 1914 at age 26, killed in action.1
He fought in the First World War.1 He gained the rank of Lieutenant in the Coldstream Guards.1

Geoffrey Lambton and Dorothy Leyland.1 She married William John St. Clair Anstruther-Gray, Baron Kilmany, son of William Anstruther-Gray of Kilmany and Carntyne and Clayre Jessie Tennant, on 4 October 1934.1 She died in 1985.1
Her married name became Anstruther-Gray. She was appointed Officer, Order of the British Empire (O.B.E.) in 1946.1 After her marriage, Monica Helen Lambton was styled as Baroness Kilmany on 2 June 1966.

William John St. Clair Anstruther-Gray, Baron Kilmany was born on 5 March 1905.2 He was the son of William Anstruther-Gray of Kilmany and Carntyne and Clayre Jessie Tennant.3 He married Monica Helen Lambton, daughter of Lt. Hon. Geoffrey Lambton and Dorothy Leyland, on 4 October 1934.2 He died on 6 August 1985 at age 80.1
He was educated at Eton College, Windsor, Berkshire, EnglandG.2 He graduated from Christ Church, Oxford University, Oxford, Oxfordshire, EnglandG, with a Master of Arts (M.A.)2 He held the office of Member of Parliament (M.P.) (Conservative) for Lanarkshire North between 1931 and 1945.2 He held the office of Parliamentary Private Secretary in 1935, to the Secretary of Overseas Trade.2 He held the office of Parliamentary Under-Secretary for Scotland in 1935.2 He held the office of Finance Secretary of the Treasury in 1936.2 He held the office of Secretary of State for Scotland in 1938.2 He gained the rank of Major in the Coldstream Guards, Reserve of Officers.2 He fought in the Second World War.2 He was awarded the Military Cross (M.C.) in 1943.2 He held the office of Assistant Postmaster-General between May 1945 and July 1945.2 He held the office of Member of Parliament (M.P.)
