Sir Michael Roberts Westropp1

Sir Michael Roberts Westropp was born on 29 June 1817.2 He was the son of Henry Bruen Westropp and Maria Wallis Armstrong.2 He married, firstly, Elizabeth Anderson, daughter of John William Anderson, on 17 January 1857.2 He married, secondly, Eliza Westropp, daughter of Lionel John Westropp and Eliza Splaine, on 3 January 1865.1 He died on 14 January 1890 at age 72.2
He graduated from Trinity College, Dublin University, Dublin, County Dublin, Ireland, in 1838 with a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.)2 He was a practising Barrister-at-Law in 1840 at Dublin, County Dublin, Ireland.2 He held the office of Advocate-General [Bombay] in 1856.2 He held the office of Puisne Judge of the High Court of Bombay in 1863.2 He held the office of Chief Justice of Bombay in 1870.2 At 60 Holland Park, London, England, (an unknown value.)2 He lived at Malabar Hill, Bombay, India.2

Penelope Clarina Westropp1

Penelope Clarina Westropp was the daughter of Lionel John Westropp and Eliza Splaine.2 She married, firstly, James Spens, son of Thomas Spens and Bethia Wood, in 1849.3 She married, secondly, Reverend Edward James Rheades on 31 December 1863.1 She died on 14 April 1897.1
From 1849, her married name became Spens. From 31 December 1863, her married name became Rheades.1
