Prideaux John Selby1

Sir Thomas Selby Tancred, 8th Bt. was born on 1 October 1840 at Rankapuka, Canterbury, New Zealand.2,3 He was the son of Sir Thomas Tancred, 7th Bt. and Jane Selby.2 He married Mary Harriet Hemans, daughter of Colonel George Willoughby Hemans, on 1 May 1866.2 He died on 11 April 1910 at age 69 at Hyde Park, London, England.2,3
He succeeded as the 8th Baronet Tancred, of Boroughbridge, co. York [E., 1662] on 7 October 1880.2

Christopher Humphrey Tancred was born on 11 May 1888.1 He was the son of Clement William Tancred and Alice Maude Bloxsome.2 He married, firstly, Gladys Winifred Carrington Chandler, daughter of Walter Robert Chandler, on 27 March 1915.1 He and Gladys Winifred Carrington Chandler were divorced in 1923.1 He married, secondly, Agnes Mary Slater, daughter of Samuel Henry Slater, on 26 April 1927.1 He and Agnes Mary Slater were divorced in 1938.1 He married, thirdly, Priscilla Noel Cecilia Barclay on 1 July 1938.1 He married, fourthly, Sadika Miligui, daughter of Radwan Khalil Miligui, on 11 March 1944.1 He and Priscilla Noel Cecilia Barclay were divorced in 1943 at Egypt.1 He died on 20 September 1971 at age 83.1
